An Irishman Walks Into The Schroon Lake BoatHouse...

The Schroon Lake Arts Council is extremely proud that noted Irish Artist Sean Tyrrell has chosen the Boathouse Theater in Schroon Lake to launch his summer tour of the US and Australia.

Coinciding with the US release of his latest CD, Walker in The Snow,  an appropriate Adirondack title), Sean will perform this Tuesday, August 6th at the Boathouse Theater at 8 PM.

Singer, Musician, Songwriter, Poet, Bard...Sean Tyrrell, a native and resident of County Galway in the West of Ireland, brings to his music a very different approach from that heard on what he refers to as the “Corned Beef and Cabbage” circuit. 

A mix of traditional and new, his music is at once elegant and moving.

On the eve of the release of his new CD “Belladonna”, Sean issued the following Mental Health Warning, “I have been accused of being a Romantic, Melancholic and sometime Cynic...my music is liberally laced with the first two and touches of the latter.”

We hope the audience will be as inspired by Sean Tyrrell, as he will be by the Boathouse Theater and the view of sunset on beautiful Schroon Lake.
