A huge congrats to the Schroon Lake Wildcats and their tremendous season opener on Friday. (yes -- we are a little late coming to the party -- but better late than never)

The 'Cats crushed Johnsburg  4 - 1, after Johnsburg scored three minutes into the second half.

But, the Wildcats came back to win going away with Jesse Shaughnessy scoring twice and Matt Filler and Justin Lough once each in a 20-minute span.

Shaughnessy, who also had an assist, Filler, who controlled midfield, and defender Jimmy Bowen, were among the standouts for the Wildcats.
