Schroon Laker Robert (Bob) George Peterson Sr., passed suddenly at his home in Schroon Lake on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at the age of 72, according to his obituary in the Post Star.
“Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Nancy (Firnicharo) Peterson.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 53 years, Jeanette; children, Lisa Marchese (Phil), Robert Jr. (Doug), Joseph (Suzanne) and Kathleen Gillis (Tony); and grandchildren, Nicole, Philip and Mason.
He was a retired custodian at Schroon Lake Central School. His favorite pastimes included fishing on Loon Lake and his Corvette.
A funeral service was held on Monday (March 10, 2019) at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home in Schroon Lake.
