Tuesday, July 4th 2017 Program

Food, Fun and Fireworks: Schroon’s July 4th Celebration this Tuesday is an all day event, with something for everybody.

Thousands are expected to pack the Town Beach, Park and Parade route, which captures the best of small town USA.

The Schroon Lake Chamber’s Tammy Whitty-Brown and Donna Rice Mellan have done an awesome job organizing Tuesday’s Big Show. So what are you most looking forward to? Let us know in comments.

The Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Schroon are excited to present our 63rd Annual 4th of July Celebrations!  Events are happening through out the village ALL DAY LONG

8am - Patriotic Path 5k Adult Run  & 1 Mile Kid Fun Run presented by Schroon Lake Class of 2018

9am - 8pm - Adirondack Baskets Raffle at Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce Office on Main St. - Sponsored by Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce. Winners

9am - 3pm Arts & Crafts Expo with many local Arts and Crafts Vendors @ Schroon Lake Town Hall.

10:30am - 11:30am "Fabulous Marking Time" Band w/ LIVE MUSIC @ Beach Area.

11am - Till Sold Out -37th Annual Chicken Barbeque @ The Schroon Lake Community Church located on Main St.  - 1/2 Chicken Dinner. 

11am - 9pm "Bounce Around" - Fun Activities for children of all ages @ Town Park by Beach Area.

11am - 9pm "Art Bucket" - Air Brush Tattoos, Face Painting, & Hair Braiding.

11am - 9pm Lions Club Food Tent @ Beach Area

11:30am -1pm "T&T" Band @ Beach Area

1pm -1:30pm  "Native American Storytelling & Song" a family friendly and fun program featuring Matoaka Little Eagle.

1:30pm - 3pm "Dog town Cadillac" Band @ Beach Area.

3pm -3:30pm "Native American Storytelling & Song” a family friendly and fun program featuring Matoaka Little Eagle.

3:30pm - 5:30pm "Gregson Brothers Band" - Band @ Beach

4pm-6pm Live Music on porch of SL Community Church, Main St. - Sue Calkin on keyboard & vocal.

5pm - 5:45pm Mini Concert - "Scotia/Glenville Pipe Band" at the Fountain In the Park

6:00pm ANNUAL PARADE - Hoffman Rd., up Main St., down Fowler Ave., onto Leland Ave. to Town Park. 

The parade will be announced by Paul Bubar & Cody Sargent of Word of Life, at the Schroon Lake Community Church porch-Main St.
